The ship is inward bound for Circular Quay during a world cruise and is dressed overall. The photographer is looking forward from the starboard side of the promenade deck in front of the superstructure showing the foremast, the starboard samson post, number 1 and 1A lifeboats under the davits and the forecastle deck. Passenger ferries are in the harbour ahead of the ship.
