Shipping in the harbour basin at Tallinn, Estonia. A steam tug, seen from astern, is alongside the quay on the right and a sheerlegs is on the end quay. Two 2-masted schooners laden with split logs are on the left and beyond them is a laid-up steamship. Tallinn Old Town is in the background with St. Nicholas Church tower in the centre, hidden by the schooner's mast. The domes of the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral can be seen to the right of centre and the spire and bell tower of St. Mary's Cathedral is on the skyline on the right.
