Shipping in the harbour basin at Tallinn, Estonia.
Shipping in the harbour basin at Tallinn, Estonia. The photographer is looking from the swing bridge over the basin entrance showing a steam tug, seen from astern, alongside the quay on the right and a sheerlegs is on the end quay. Four 2-masted schooners laden with split logs are on the left and beyond them is a laid-up steamship. Tallinn Old Town is in the background with St. Nicholas Church tower on the left. The domes of the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral can be seen to the left of centre hidden by the schooner's mast and the spire and bell tower of St. Mary's Cathedral is on the skyline in the centre. St. Olav's Church tower and spire is on the right.
