The south end of the waterfront in the harbour at Tangier, Morocco. A lighter and a few small boats are moored offshore inside the south breakwater. Painted on a fence above the foreshore is 'Union d'Entreprises Marocaines, Gharbons Anglais'. Buildings facing the water include one with 'Shell' painted on it, the Hotel Oriental and a building with 'Voyagez a Gibraltar et Maroc par la Bland Line' painted on the flank wall.
