A close view of local bumboats alongside the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) which is anchored off Tangier, Morocco. The photographer is in one of the Orion's motor tenders standing off while another of her tenders is alongside the port aft accommodation ladder and is surrounded by about a dozen bumboats, each of which has one man at the oars and another man trying to sell his wares. A few light lines are strung between some of the boats and the ship's rail.
