The harbour and town at Tangier, Morocco.
The harbour and town at Tangier, Morocco. The photographer is looking west-by-north from a boat offshore showing the harbour entrance with the lighthouse on the end of the north breakwater. A single funnelled steamship, seen from off her port beam, is moored stern-on to the north breakwater. Two steam tugs and some dumb lighters are berthed on the north wharf which is equipped with a variety of cranes and a single storey shed. The buildings facing the harbour include the Continental Hotel.
