The old city walls, the harbour and the bay at Tangier, Morocco.
The old city walls, the harbour and the bay at Tangier, Morocco. The photographer is looking east from a vantage point on the east end of the old city wall protecting the Old Town. The harbour is on the right with the lighthouse on the end of the north breakwater. Shell oil storage tanks are next to the north breakwater. At anchor out in the bay is a Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship of the Duchess class. She is seen from well ahead of her starboard beam, is dressed overall and is one of Duchess of Atholl (1928), Duchess of Bedford (1928) or Duchess of Richmond (1928).
