A distant starboard near broadside view of one of the manual lifeboats from the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) which is at anchor in a Norwegian fjord. The boat, manned almost entirely by passengers, is engaged in a race but the passengers have not yet managed to get their oars in unison. The photographer is on board the Orion near the bow watching the boat passing in front of the bow and the ship's port anchor chain can be seen in the right foreground. Negatives numbers P84420 to P84439 inclusive were taken on the same occasion.
