A distant starboard side view, taken from abaft the beam, of one of the manual lifeboats from the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) which is at anchor in a Norwegian fjord. The boat, manned almost entirely by passengers, has completed a race and the passengers have tossed their oars. The photographer is on board the Orion near her bow watching the boat passing in front of the bow. Negatives numbers P84420 to P84439 inclusive were taken on the same occasion.
