One of the manual lifeboats from the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) which is at anchor in a Norwegian fjord. The boat, seen from fine off her starboard quarter, is under ten oars and is manned almost entirely by passengers who are taking part in a race with other passenger manned boats. Negatives numbers P84420 to P84439 inclusive were taken on the same occasion.
