On board the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) anchored off Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Tenerife Island, Canary Islands. The photographer is looking aft and to port from the port side of the deck aft showing lifeboat 20 under her davits. A few small craft and two steam tugs are at moorings in the harbour. The clock and bell tower of the San Francisco de Asis church is to the left of centre.
