On board the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) anchored off Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Tenerife Island, Canary Islands. The photographer is looking aft and to port from the port side of the deck aft showing lifeboat 20 under her davits and two passengers sitting in deck chairs at the ship's rail. A salvage tug, a few small craft and two steam tugs are at moorings in the harbour. Schooners, cargo ships and passenger vessels are alongside the breakwater.
