Tvoroyri and the Trangisvaagsfjordur on the island of Suduroy in the Faroe Islands
A general view of the village of Tvoroyri on the island of Suduroy in the Faroe Islands. The photographer is on the west shore of the Trangisvaagsfjordur looking east -by-south across the water showing the village nestling at the foot of a mountain. The passenger/cargo steamship Smiril (1932), seen from just abaft her port beam, is alongside the main quay on the right and Tvoroyri Church, built in 1908, is beyond the main quay.
