The village of Tvoroyri and the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) anchored in Trangisvaagsfjordur on the island of Suduroy in the Faroe Islands
Drying filletted fish on stones near the waterfront of the village of Tvoroyri on the island of Suduroy in the Faroe Islands. The photographer is on a shore excursion from the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) which is anchored in the Trangisvaagsfjordur and is seen on the left from ahead of her port beam. Her bow is out of the picture. Women and children and a couple of men are moving the fish about to be sure they are dried off. Mountains are on the far side of the Trangisvaagsfjordur.
