These seats are all numbered with a K.V. prefix. Yachts are alongside the end of the long jetty and at the shore end is a notice reading 'Vermietung von Segel-Motor-Ruderbooten' (Rental of sail-motor-rowing boats). Anchored offshore in the distance and seen from ahead of her port beam is the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929).
