The beach, and the Strandpromenade to the north of the River Trave at Travemunde, Germany.
The beach and the Strandpromenade to the north of the River Trave at Travemunde, Germany. The photographer is looking west-by-north from just offshore showing a number of large wicker basket seats scattered about the sands and many of them have been surrounded by sand bunds. Local flags are flying over the beach and the Strandpromenade. Large, individually designed properties are facing the Strandpromenade on the right and on the left is the Atlantischer Kursaal (Atlantic Concert Hall) built in 1914. The negative is very slightly out of focus.
