The beach to the north of the River Trave at Travemunde, Germany.
The beach to the north of the River Trave at Travemunde, Germany. The photographer is looking west-by-south along the beach from out of a jetty showing three people in the water. It is high tide and large wicker basket seats are scattered about the sands and many of the seats appear to be protected by a sand bund. These seats are all numbered with a K.V. prefix. The wooden buildings on the pier are on the left and many flags, both local and nazi, are in evidence. Large, individually designed properties are facing the Strandpromenade.
