Leisure craft at moorings next to the Travepromenade at Travemunde, Germany.
Leisure craft at moorings next to the Travepromenade at Travemunde, Germany. The photographer is looking east-by-north from a jetty next to the Travepromenade showing a stern view of the moored Dutch auxiliary twin screw ketch Julia Ilse (1921). A motor launch flying a swastika ensign is in the left foreground and the Travemunde lighthouse built in 1539 is in the left background. Two small sailing dinghies, a motor launch and other yachts are under way in the entrance channel which has large wooden dolphins to mark the navigable channel.
