A distant view of the waterfront at Port of Spain,Trinidad.
A distant view of the waterfront at Port of Spain, Trinidad. The photographer is looking north-east from on board a cruise ship anchored well offshore showing the South Quay on the right with the lighthouse at the end end and the harbour lookout and searchlight tower in the centre of the picture. 2-masted schooners and single masted sloops are anchored offshore and a 2-masted schooner is under sail. The commercial steamer wharves are on the left and a tall lattice steel mast is beyond the schooner under sail. The town is backed by wooded hills.
