A group of five local entertainers on the aft end of the boat deck of the coastal passenger ferry St Patrick (1913) at Port of Spain, Trinidad. These five men are Afro-Caribbean with whitened faces and fancy clothing, including a mix of headwear. One man is playing a six string guitar, one has clapper sticks in his hands and another is holding a wooden guiro. The stern of the starboard lifeboat is on the left. Negative number P95822 is very similar. This negative is captioned with the following inscription which contains historical and offensive terms: "1120. Nigger minstrels, Trinidad.".
