The waterfront at Tromso, Norway
The waterfront at Tromso, Norway. The photographer is on a boat in the Sund looking north at the southern end of the town showing the hospital building in the centre of the picture. To the right of the hospital is Tromsoysund Church which was built in 1803 as Tromso Church on a site further north but was dismantled in 1860, moved to this site and renamed Tromsoysund Church. Three motor fishing vessels are moored in the Sund. The negative is captioned '"Tromso" from the sea.'
