The photographer is in a boat in Tromso Sund looking at the waterfront showing a motor fishing vessel at moorings on the left and beyond it is a building with Motor Verksted on it. A steam sealer registered T.165.TO is to the right of centre and is seen from off her starboard beam. The houses in the background are scattered amongst trees on the side of a low hill.
