In the Vestre Kanal, Ravnkloa harbour, Trondheim, Norway. The photographer is looking north from the fish market quay showing people lining the quay guardrails and a singpost points the way to Munkholmbaterne. The motor lifeboat Number 5 from the Swedish cruise ship Kungsholm (1928) is under way in the canal and the ship herself is anchored beyond the harbour wall. She is seen from abaft her port beam.
