Moored off the Doge's Palace and the Piazza San Marco are the Italian Navy scout cruiser Nino Bixio (1911) and the light cruiser Ancona (1913). The Nino Bixio is on the left and is seen from abaft her port beam and the Ancona is on the right and is seen from off her starboard beam. Both ships have awnings rigged. A vertical format negative.
