The city at Vigo, Spain, from on board a cruise ship.

The city at Vigo, Spain, from on board an unidentified cruise ship. The ship is just under way as she approaches her anchorage and the photographer is looking across the deck showing passengers lining the ship's rail watching two of the crew in the chains taking soundings with a lead line. The ship may be an Orient Line vessel. Work is proceeding on the construction of the seaward breakwater. The fortress of O Castro on top of Castro Hill is on the right. The twin towers of the cathedral of Santa Maria are on the left.
