The north harbour and the Quai de l'Amiral Courbet at Villefranche-Sur-Mer, France
The north harbour and the Quai de l'Amiral Courbet at Villefranche-Sur-Mer, France. The photographer is looking north-by-east from the south side of the harbour showing a number of Nice registered boats in the harbour and two of them are filled with water. The Quai de l'Amiral Courbet is on the left. Alongside the breakwater on the right are the two passenger motor vessels Marcelle Paris (fl. 1930) and Emile Paris (fl. 1930), both seen from very fine off the starboard bow. The walled embankment of the coast railway is in the background.
