The south-west corner of the north harbour at Villefranche-Sur-Mer, France. The photographer is looking west-by-south from the breakwater showing the rear of the Chapelle St. Pierre which fronts the Avenue Sadi Carnot. A number of Nice registered boats are in the harbour and drawn up on shore including ones numbered 171, 543 and 152. One of the boats is named Lina-titine. the citadel wall is on the left and on the hilltop in the background is the Fort du Mont-Alban.
