The route is lined with uniformed people, many of whom are in youth organisations, and fascist sympathisers, some of whom are giving the fascist salute. A band is in the background. The stern of the Tirrenia coastal passenger/cargo liner which brought the coffin to Naples is alongside the quay. The identity of the ship is not known but it is one of Citta di Napoli (1929), Citta di Tunisi (1929), Citta di Genova (1930) or Citta di Palermo (1930).
