The photographer is on the port side aft looking forward and to port showing two passengers leaning on the rails watching the activity in the dock. The tug Wellington (1926), seen from off her starboard bow, is in the foreground by the Orford (1928). The Cunard Line passenger liner Alaunia (1925), seen from off her starboard quarter, is alongside Berth 46. The tug Canute (1923), seen from abaft her port beam, is pushing against the bow of the Aquitania (1914) which is just out of the picture. A vertical format negative.
