The commercial wharves on the Avenida San Pedro at Havana, Cuba.
The commercial shipping wharves on the Avenida San Padro at Havana, Cuba. The photographer is looking west-north-west across the harbour to the wharves showing a passenger/cargo ship of the Alexandria Navigation Company S.A.E., either the Star of Luxor (1948) or the Star of Suez (1948), alongside the nearest wharf. On the opposite side of the wharf and almost completely hidden is the British registered cargo liner Sarmiento (1943). On the right of the harbour entrance channel is the Castle of San Carlos de La Cabana.
