A port broadside view of the Ellerman Line cruise ship City of London (1907) at Barcelona, Spain.
A port broadside view of the Ellerman Line cruise ship City of London (1907) moored alongside the Muelle de Barcelona at Barcelona, Spain. She is dressed overall, has a grey hull and a deckhouse is on the poop. A group of people are gathered on No. 3 hatch forward of the mainmast. The photographer is looking south-east-by-east from the cable car high above the Muelle's terminal building which has prominent signs on it for the Italian shipping lines Italia, ALA Littoria, Cosulich Line, Lloyd Triestino and S.A.E.M.A.R. In the background is a ship repair yard with a coastal passenger/cargo vessel hauled up on a slipway. This ship has a black funnel with a wide band on which are the letters I and M superimposed.
