Unknown Royal Yacht[?]; stern board decoration.

Scale: 1:48. A plan showing the colour-washed stern board decoration for an unnamed Royal Yacht[?].

The central section of the taffrail is the Royal Coat of Arms with a lion and unicorn supporter. Behind them and the Coat of Arms on each side are a variety of standards and war trophies and a cherub blowing a trumpet. Between the windows are thin branches of oak leaves and acorns. Either side of them are two figures, partly morphed into columns, holding garland of flowers. They possibly represent ‘Plenty’. The two outer arched window spaces are filled with the Star from the Order of the Garter. The left hand quarter piece is a full-length female figure holding an anchor, representing Hope. The right hand quarter piece is a full-length female blindfolded figure holding scales and a sword, representing Justice.
