A starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) anchored and moored in the San Marco Basin off the Riva Schiavoni at Venice, Italy. Her starboard anchor is deployed and she has mooring lines out to port and astern. An accommodation ladder is rigged to her main deck aft and a number of small boats and gondolas are near the ship. Number 1 seaboat has been launched and the Blue Peter is flying from the port yardarm on the foremast. The top of the tower of St. Mark's Campanile is in the background beyond the stern of the Orion.
