A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) berthed off the Riva Schiavoni at Venice, Italy. Both anchors are deployed and she mooring lines to a buoy astern. Her accommodation ladder aft is rigged but not lowered and a midships shell door is open. Number 1 seaboat is wung out and lowered to boat deck level and she is flying the Blue Peter from the port yardarm on her foremast. A lighter is alongside amidships. St. Mark's Campanile and the Doge's Palace are in the left background.
