A port near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) at moorings off Bighi Bay in Grand Harbour, Malta. She has mooring lines out ahead and astern and an accommodation ladder is rigged to her main deck aft. A number of dghaisas are gathered near her ladder. The photographer is looking south-south-east from Valletta showing The Royal Navy Hospital at Bighi in the left background with Kalkara Creek in the centre and Fort St. Angelo on the right.
