A distant port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Ormonde (1917) at anchor in Vigo Bay, Spain
A distant port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Ormonde (1917) at anchor in Vigo Bay, Spain. Her starboard anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged forward with a boat pulling away from it. Two steam vessels are alongside the ship aft of amidships. The photographer is on shore looking across an enclosed harbour and berthed in the right foreground is a small steamer which has the letter P on her black topped funnel. Beyond the harbour breakwater is a lighter with a lattice tower, possibly a diving platform, on her stern. A coal hulk is in the left background and a 3- masted, ship rigged sailing ship is beyond the Ormonde.
