A distant port bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) at anchor in Sognefjord off Balholm, Norway. She has both anchors deployed and an accommodation ladder is rigged aft. Two of her starboard side boats have been launched and her foremast derrick is hauled round to port. There are patches of snow on the mountains in the background.
