On board the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) in Norwegian waters showing a motor lifeboat embarking passengers alongside the accommodation ladder. The photographer is on the port side at the aft end of the boat deck looking down and aft. Passengers are lining the promenade deck rail wtaching others descending the steps of the ladder and getting into the boat. The davits fore lifeboat number 18 are empty. A vertical format negative. Negatives numbers P85396 and P85398 were taken on the same occasion.
