On board the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) while anchored and moored in the Saltsjon at Stockholm, Sweden. The photographer is on the port side of the tourist class promenade deck looking forward and to port from just aft of amidships. some of the passengers are leaning on the ship's rail, some are sitting in folding deck chairs and a few are walking along the deck. Signs under the deckhead read "Group 10" and "Group 8". The wharf in the Sodermalm district is in the background.
