A slightly distant port quarter view, taken from wide off the stern, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) at anchor in Sognefjord off Balholm, Norway. Both anchors are deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged aft. Seaboat 4 and lifeboat 18 have been launched and lifeboat 6 has been swung out and lowered to boat deck level. The photographer is on shore showing a tree in the left foreground and a wooden hut on the right.
