A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from abaft the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) anchored in an unknown location. Her starboard anchor is deployed and she has two accommodation ladders rigged aft, one to the deck and one to a shell door. A boat is alongside the shell door ladder and another boat is heading for the ship from the shore. Lifeboat 17 has been launched. The stern of an unknown vessel alongside a quay can be seen on the left.
