A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) anchored in Isfjord, off Aandalsnes, Norway.
A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) anchored in Isfjord, off Aandalsnes, Norway. She has an accommodation ladder rigged aft. The photographer is on shore and in the foreground her motor tender No. 1 is alongside a wooden slipway disembarking a full load of passengers. Because of the depth of field of the camera lens the image of the ship is slightly out of focus. The negative is captioned "Naes". The horizon is not level and the mountains are shrouded in low cloud.
