On board the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) while under way in Sognefjord, Norway
On board the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) looking forward and to starboard from the poop while under way in Sognefjord, Norway. Motor lifeboat number 17 is suspended in its davits but it is not clear whether she is being hoisted or readied for lowering. The negative is captioned "Balholm" but it is not known if the ship is heading towards or away from Balholm. Another cruise ship is in the distance passing between the steep sides of the fjord.
