A port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) at anchor in Isfjord off Aandalsnes, Norway. Her starboard anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged aft. Lifeboat 18 has been launched and one of her boats is heading for the shore. She is flying the Blue Peter from the starboard yardarm, the Norwegian flag from the top of the foremast and flag N from the bridge signal halyard. She is emitting a column of smoke from her after funnel. The horizon is not quite level.
