A distant port quarter view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) under way in Sognefjord, Norway, approaching Balholm. One of the ship's tenders is being hoisted out from the forward well deck by the foremast derrick. Lifeboats 8, 10 and 18 have been swung out and lowered to promenade deck levels. The negative is slightly out of focus and the ship is blurred from image movement. Negatives numbers P84694 to P84696 inclusive were taken on the same occasion.
