A distant port side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) at anchor in Gloppenfjord, off Sandene, Norway. Her starboard anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged aft. Two of her boats are shuttling between the ship and the shore. There are patches of snow on the mountains in the background, the tops of which are partly obscured by low cloud.
