A starboard near broadside view, taken from just abaft the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) at anchor in Eidfjord, off Hardangerfjord, Norway. She has an accommodation ladder rigged aft to her deck aft and another rigged to a shell door with a boat alongside it. Motor lifeboat 17 has been launched. The Norwegian flag is at the top of the foremast and she has short gaff fitted to her mainmast. One of the ship's motor tenders is heading for the shore.
