On board the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) anchored in Holandsfjorden off the Svartisen Glacier, Norway. The photographer is near the centreline of the aft end of the boat deck looking aft and to port showing passengers near the rail by the empty chocks of the aft motor lifeboat. The Svartisen Glacier is prominent and there are patches of snow on the mountains in the background. A vertical format negative.
