A slightly distant port broadside view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) anchored off Korcula, Yugoslavia
A slightly distant port broadside view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) anchored off Korcula, Yugoslavia. Her port anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged aft with a boat alongside it. Lifeboats 6 and 18 have been launched. She is flying the Blue Peter and the Yugoslav flag from the foremast. The photographer is looking north from the harbour and one of the ship's motor lifeboats is returning to the ship from the shore. A leading light is on the end of the breakwater on the right.
