A port bow view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) alongside Berth 44 in the Ocean Dock at Southampton, Hampshire. The photographer is under a crane on the quayside at Berth 45 looking across the corner of the dock showing the ship berthed starboard side on to the quay. Track mounted cranes are on the quay and the one on the left is a Stothert & Pitt Free Barrel Crane fitted with Mitchell Williams luffing gear. Negative numbers P84738 to P84744 were taken on the same occasion.
